Lets Talk Archery..

Mathews Solocam

A very generous old friend had a Mathews Solocam SQ-2 he wasn't using.. Since he is all into Traditional archery now, he loaned me that bow to use..

All I have to say is WOW  Compared to my 12 year old PSE, this thing is awesome! I had it sighted in and shooting pretty good groups in less that 30 minutes. What shocked me more, is that the 20 yard pin is good from 15 - 30 yards.. It shoots FLAT.. My pse had a 20, 30, and 40 yard pin.. This thing really only needs two pins.

Since its show short & light, it is taking me a little getting used to , to hold her steady though.. I didn't realize how heavy my bow was....

A few more practice rounds and I'm ready to go !

You should have got one of the traditional bows
You are too big for training wheels :stir: :W:
Hope you have some good luck with it

Been trying to tell you to change over to traditional, now I guess you're spoiled. I've got a few recurves and longbows when you're ready.

training wheels.. HA :smash: I'll have you know, I bow hunted 14 years straight without killing a single deer.. Finally gave it up from frustration. Now that I'm trying it again, I'll take training wheels and whatever else I can have :P

Matt, holler when u want to run down to the farm for a quick hunt.. I put up two good bow stands yesterday.

All you have to do is sit in your backyard.. those deer are seen on a regular basis now, plus with the corn/beans being cut, they should really get on the move soon ! I'm just waiting for a big one to be seen crossing college rd ..

yeah... I usually start seeing them a lot more often during late Nov - Dec during Rut time. I have seen at least one wall hanger the last 2 years.
