Thinking about a new bow.....

Postby Rube » Thu Feb 05, 2009 6:22 pm

Time to think about upgrading from the older one that I have now....Don't really want to bust the wallet, but anything is possible. I would like to hear some opinions from those on here as to why they got the one they have and whether it met their expectations after they bought it and used it.....

Your opinions please.....

There are lots of good bows on the market today. I happen to shoot a mathews, but there are other bows too. Go to your local archery shop and shoot several, and see what feels good and fits you good. You might even be able to find a good used bow this time of year for a lot less money.

I shoot a mathews as well.. I see bows super Cheap on Ebay sometimes. Most of the time they will have the complete set-up. It's worth a look.

Check Craigslist as well.

I didn't think there was much difference in bows, till I got a Mathews this year..

And to answer your question "Why I have the bow I have?".... Well, its because MHN is a great guy

I shot a Hoyt the last 3 years. I bought a Mathews DXT last summer and have learned to like the bow. I shot several different brands before the mathews and found the mathews to be a great bow for my personal satisfaction

Bought a PSE X Force, for a little less than 2/3 the price at the shops, on Ebay.

Mathews are nice and I will own one someday, but I shoot a PSE now and it still kills deer just like my ole Darton SL50 use too before I broke a limb 3D shooting.

Go shoot them and then make your choice is best.
