I just got confirmation from Mark Livingston that the bill died a few minutes ago.
I still hate Commies, even after they changed their name to Liberals.

:D :D :D Only thing successful about that bill was it's ability to divide hunters - glad it's dead, but it'll be back out next year

If it indeed died I'm glad in a sense and sad in a sense. My wife of 31 years started deer hunting this year and went "hog wild" after taking her first deer during gun season. I bought her a 44 magnum H&R handi rifle so she could hunt during the primitive weapons season. I was looking forward to her being able to start Nov. 1st but my selfish side wanted the seasons unchanged as I believe the seasons changes would infringe upon those of us who prefer to hunt with the bow. Just my two cents worth.

I am glad it is dead, but they (MDWFP) will try again next year since they are supporting it.
Thank you Lord for another day!

Yep, I'm pleased that it didn't pass this year, but I'm afraid we have not heard the last of it.
