I do! And I think it's the best hunting bow Mathews ever put out! And IMHO the best hunting bow on the market. From draw to shot. It is like an extention of my arm.

I've got one, and it's a nice bow....Fairly smooth draw, quiet, and moderately fast.

I like my Monster's a whole lot better.

I got one the other day. Definitely more quiet than the previous bow I had (Bowtech Guardian), but I don't think it's any faster. The draw on the Mathews is muuuuuch more smooth and easy than the Bowtech's was. Realize, we're comparing a 2010 flagship bow to a 3 year old non-flagship competitor, but that's all I had to go on. I want smooth and quiet over blazing speed in the treestand, and my groups are better than they were with the Bowtech. YMMV.

The Bowtech has a dual cam and the Z7 a single cam. They are going to draw completely different from one another. The Monster has a similar draw to the Bowtechs. I shot the Z7 but don't own one. Felt really good but I just bought a DXT which I like also. I'd say if you got the money, buy it! Go shoot a few and see what you like best though.

Just shot the Z7 along with others and I must say the Z7 in my opinion " is the way to go " ! I haven't bought a new bow in 9 years so I wanted to get one that I would be happy with for many years to come and once again Z7 for me . Will get it Saturday !

Where do you hunt in IL?

I've got a 150 acre lease between Nebo and Pittsville. Will be up there the first week in October, last week in October thru the second week of November, and then on the weekends thru December and January if required.

If the weather cooperates you should see something.....The bucks start cruising in the daylight some in mid October, but the does aren't quite ready.

If you get the chance, get up there the first week in November. It's a life changing experience.
