I haven't heard nor laid eyes on a bird this weekend. To top that off, someone destroyed my home made bridge and I wasn't able to get to my favorite spot. :x :x

I went friday morning after I got off work scouting here in TX. and got a good gobbler to answer and to come within shooting distance!I have decided to leave them alone until the 31st when season opens.I dont want to educate them all before I can kill one :) .Si Harvey (MS.Native)

I killed one on the 15th in Tippah County. It was a
2 year old bird with a 8" beard and 1" spurs. I used
the B-Mobile decoy and it drove the gobblers and jakes
crazy.

I have not even been yet. I was in Ripley this weekend, and the wifes familyl hunted. I don't think they did any good though. I was in walmart while in Ripley, and talked to a young man who said he had several gobbling at him though.

I'm 0 for 3 so far. All I have seen are some hens. They haven't been gobblin to good in the golden triangle area. I guess this cool snap kinda turned them off.
