My buddy and I both killed a turkey. The one I killed was a double bearded bird.

Mine was:

22 lbs 14 oz

10"-Beard

7 1/4"-Beard

Both Spurs 1"

Opening Day Double in TN

This is the first gobbler I have killed. I was wondering how to score it and what is considered a good score.

Congratulations on the success! To officially score the turkey you take the beard length x 2, each spur length x 10 and add it to the weight of the turkey.

All of my turkey kills score a perfect 10 on the memory scale! :D

The scoring of turkeys is just something that was implemented into turkey hunting by deer hunters. Dont worry about it. The size of a turkey is the least most important thing about turkey hunting. Congrats on a FINE turkey!!!
