Working 7-12s but got home in time to hear them going to roost!I hope to be off this Friday and if I am I will be in the woods!

Good luck. They are starting to talk around here. Saw 2 big gobblers yesterday doing spot & stalk but couldn't seal the deal.

On our place, they seem to gobble when they fly down, and then shut up..

They're definitly doing that here. I've heard turkeys gobble 13 mornings hundreds of times, but i've only heard one gobble 4 times on the ground.

Doing the same where I hunt. Does not take long for the hens to get to them.

Maybe when some of the Hens get tended to the Long beards will be lonesome?
