Got My Best One Friday

Postby jbullard1 » Sat Apr 21, 2007 2:42 pm

:D While hunting with my oldest son in Prim Ar Friday morning I got my best ever turkey 21 pounds, 10 1/2 inch beard and 7/8 and 3/4 inch spurs. Apparently all the walking on the rocks wore and rounded his spurs and toenails. He came in to our decoy set from 150 yards and when he finally saw the B-Mobile decoy he never broke strut and came straight to us in his Bad-Boy walk We tried getting it on video but messed up and got only a few seconds after the shot but got some pretty good pics. This is one hunt I will remember a long time. I'll get some pics posted when I get back home 8)
Here he is about 70 yards out

And here we are with B-Mobile

Jerry, that's a very nice bird, congratulations! Looks like a great place to hunt especially with getting 3 good birds off it.

Congrats and I'm jealous. I can't even talk one bird into coming close to me this year and you had a boat load of them in close.

So are you saying that the "meet and greet 07" has been scraped :( ?

Maybe my better 1/2 and 1/4 and I will be able to make it, IF I do not have to get to much gas or diesel.... :o

Were you going to drive to Olive Branch for that ?

We decided to wait till after turkey season.. Nobody could ever find a common time.. We will have to settle on some other date and start trying again..
