I believe it will be a couple of weeks before them start gobbling that much....i saw four gobblers the other day walking along feeding and watched them for about thirty minutes before they moved on along and neither of them ever gobbled.

I have seen strutters and hear gobbling but season does not open until the 29th here? I've already had turkeys to respond to a call from the truck just riding around and calling in spots that I see them. Good luck to the MS. youth hunters this weekend!

I woke up to turkeys gobbling this morning! I had three jakes in my back yard. They were acting up strutting and gobbling at cars passing on the dirt road in front of my house.

went to a listening spot Saturday in Claiborne county and by 715 I had heard 48 gobbles by at least six different birds.... I then moved down the road aways and had 4 more birds for another 8 gobbles.... its was hard not to go to the truck and get my gun and vest and go to hunting them
