I have hunted 10 days and heard one gobbler. I've never seen it this slow.

It has been like that for me for the last 2 seasons.

10 days and 1 gobbler would tell me there arent that many turkeys around and I would be finding another place/area to hunt.

they are gobbling on the roost up here, but not much once they hit the ground.. last week the temps were in the 20's so that may have a little to do with it

Last week was our best week thus far , I thought. Lots of turkeys took a dirt nap. I personally saw 3 hit the ground in 4 days. Now the past 4 days have been a different story but they are gobbling around mid day pretty decent. Just hens getting to them too quick and cant move cause no vegetation.

I have had birds gobbling one or 2 times on the limb and going silent once they hit the ground but I do believe its about to get right
