I finally found some birds that would gobble this morning. Man did they put on a show gobbling. I got them close enough to hear them drumming , but there was some thick stuff between us. Gonna get after um again bright and early tomorrow.

We had 5-6 birds gobbling at us yesterday morning but nothing would commit. Went back this morning and didn't hear a bird.

My son called in a big adult gobbler yesterday morning to 15 yards. He was gobbling, strutting and had a big full fan. The only problem was he had no beard at all. He let him walk off and a little while later called the same bird in again. He was very frustrated. He will probably take one of his young cousins on Saturday to try and kill him. We don't need a beardless gobbler running around ruining hunts. Would this be caused from beard rot?
