Magnus Bullhead Broadheads

Postby Jellyhead » Tue Jan 20, 2009 4:10 pm

New here as far as posting is concerned. I'm planning on bowhunting turkeys a little this year and wondered if anyone on here had any experience with the Magnus Bullhead broadheads?

Guess Not, they are similar to the "Gobbler Guillotine" broadheads that are made for head/neck shots. They have 3" fixed blades and I wondered how they flew. I'm going to set up a blind at my in-laws place. He has a small food plot that they hand out in a lot and thought I might try to get one with a bow this time...

I use the same 125 grain spitfires I use for deer hunting, I havent gotten one with mmy bow yet but the buddy of mine that only bow hunts turkeys uses this setup.... I had one at six yards last year and couldnt pull the bow back because my heart was about to pound out of my chest....

I use Magnus 2 blades with my recurve< no turkey yet, but plenty of deer and cyotes and other critters. I don't think you'll have a problem with your deer setup!

I use Grim Reapers for the gobblers and the deer. It devastates them.
I still hate Commies, even after they changed their name to Liberals.
