I drove down to my place this morning to check on things and heard 2 different birds gobble :D maybe theyll be around when grandsons get here for youth season. any one else hearing or seeing birds :?:

saw a nice bird at lease Sat. and have been hearing birds nearly every morning past week or so when leaving for work. helps to live and hunt at deer camp :D

I went out last Saturday to do some scouting and I had 1 gobbler gobble at my hoot owl call about 5 times. Other than that, that's I know.

:D :P Successful sunday afternoon for my 7 yearold grandson He got a young gobbler with 8 inch beard He was so happy you wooda thought he just won the lottery. Bird came in at a run across a small field to about 12 yards. 8) Will post pics when son sends them to me.

That's great. I'm sure he is hooked now. I'm still waiting for my first one. Been at it for about 5 years now.

Awesome!!!! I'm after my first too...Last year was my first year to chase these birds, and I am hooked. I'm going in the morning and hoping for some success.

SLOW HUNTIN!

HUNTIN HAS BEEN SLOW THE LAST TWO YRS. BUT SHOULD GET BETTER IN THE NEXT FEW YRS ACCORDING TO HATCH REPORTS. I'VE HUNTED HARD AND NOT HEARING MANY BIRDS AFTER THEY COME OFF THE ROOST. GOT LUCKY AND KILLED ONE LAST SAT. MORNIN. 91/2 BEARD 1'' SPURS HOPE TO GET A LEAST ONE MORE BEFORE THE END OF SEASON. WANT TO TRY DEEP FRYN ONE! YUM HEARD ITS GREAT.

I'VE BEEN VISITING THE SITE FOR A WHILE NOW! JUST ENJOY TALKIN ABOUT HUNTIN & FISHIN . EVERYONE ON SITE SEEMS TO BE GREAT. IF I CAN FIGURE OUT HOW I WILL POST A PIC OF MY BIRD!
