I'm back and got turkey on the brain

Postby lugnut » Fri Mar 17, 2006 10:20 am

I'm back from my unguided Iraqi hunt and just in time for turkey season. the turkeys here in the panhandle of florida are going nuts. in one week from today i'll be making my yearly excursion to the back woods of collins ms. to do some turkey bustin. until then i'm stuck on the public woods of eglin air force base.

how are things lookin over there. are there any trees left in the woods for the turkeys to roost or have they moved to the inner lying subdivisions to roost on mailboxes?
