i killed one this morning

Postby lugnut » Sat Mar 18, 2006 4:16 pm

I heard 4 gobble and called up 12 jakes. i killed the first one that came out. as soon as he came into the cutover i was hunting in he looked dead at me and stopped in his track. i figured i would put a little meat in the freezer so i shot him.

13.4 lbs
3in. beard
1/2 in spurs

killed him on Eglin Air Force Base in unit 9A at 6:10 this morning

i'll see if i can't get a picture to work on here

I couldn't upload them onto here....I must have some security setting up too high? I don't remember the exact message it gave me, but it was something to that effect.

hey jbullard1, i took her deer hunting this past year. we just sat in the truck looking at a 30 acer field and at dark she was ready to go. she ain't a big fan of the dark. i'll try again next year. she loves to fish though.

i found out the night before i deployed that my wife was pregnant again. we had been trying for a while. she had the first ultrasound while i was in iraq and they think it's a boy. hopfully come sept. i'll be raising my new hunting partner.
