I was hunting in a community called Prim Its north of Heber Springs and Greers Ferry I saw this bird 2 times Friday Had to find out if it was legal?
Saw it again Sat morning out of range changed location Sat afternoon She came in to about 60 yards. I was hoping someone could tell me how often a bearded hen happens :?: I would think its rare its the first one I've seen.

After a little investigation on mdwfp.com" bearded hens are not that uncommon any where from 1 to 30 % of hens can be bearded". Looks like they could narrow the percentages a little?

That is kinda a broad range of percentages...that's the first I've ever seen too, I've heard of them, but never seen one.
