I filled my fourth texas turkey tag yesterday eve.I have been hunting this bird for a while he would allways hang up out of gun range.I heard him gobble one time and I set up on him,He only gobbled one time after I had been calling for a while. He came out of the brush close and was really acting nervous so I didn't look long,He was a goodun with10"+beard and 1" spurrs. This has been my best turkey season ever with a 6",9.5"and two 10" toms all since april 10th.Sidog :D

Congrats, Myself and three of my buddies went to Wheeler TX, Apr. 13,14,and 15 of 2005. We had a blast. I killed two w/10 in. beards in one shot the first morning. We were hunting TX, and OK at the same time. We hunted one place one morning and the other the next. We killed 26 turkeys those three days out there.
