over view of season

Overall deer sightings were down and I will attribute this to hunting food plots more than normal, as I did this to scout for spots to take my 10 yr grandgerl. It was still a great season even though I didn't hunt as much as I normally do and I believe that was due to the Missouri trip just really took its toll on the mind and body..

I did get to go bowhunting out of state this year which was a bucket list Item, It was 6 hard days of hunting with many hours sitting in a stand and seeing big deer and shooting at some big deer in conditions that this Mississippi boy was not used to... I will go back to blue stem outfitters in the future but not this coming season.,

I was able to fill my freezer and also give my late friend Joe's parents a deer for their freezer. Even though I didn't get my grandgerl on a deer this year she did get her a 129 inch 5.5 yr old 8 point for her wall while hunting with her dad..

glad it is over cant wait for it to open up next year but in the mean time its on to some fishing and thunderchickens
