10/01/09 got a call at 740 pm asking to come look for a couple of does my freinds had shot... Loaded LuLu up and got to the site at 8 15... First deer LuLu had found with in ten minutes only 40 yards from where my bud had shot... 2nd deer a lil tuffer because it wasnt dead.(didnt know at t he time of the trailing began) we worked our way into a thick pine thicket and after about 200 yard trail the fallen tree top came to life , the doe darted out between 3 of us and the dog was trying to get out of the tree top.....
after that we waited til the next day and still have not found that doe
Lulu found both deer so I call it a find which gives her a 2 find start for the year and brings her to 69 finds in her 8 yrs

10/05/09 got a call at 640 pm a freind had just shot a big doe on his family land down the street from the house and he was worried about the shot ands wanted me to bring my dog to help him look.... he thought he had hit a bit far back on her so we gave it a couple of hours and had a couple of cold ones while waiting.... at 9 20 or so we start the walk back to his stand area and as we approached Lulu struck on a trail and and it was money.... good deep red blood for over a hundred yard and into a thicket.. we picked our way through the thicket for another 100 yards and there she was.... Instead of a bit far back it was a bit forward.....

10/06/08 While looking for the deer on 10/5 i had a message from a fella in Bolton that had shot a good buck... I called him from work on 10/6 to see if they had found it yet... The y hadnt so I load up and head to bolton with Lulu and we started trailing about 1 pm... she strikes up on the trail but the blood has played out, however she trailing strong and we get into the nastiest thicket I have ever crawled into... so thick I had to back out.. The buck got into a small ditch and she lost the trail and came out as well.... We circle the thicket and cant pick up the trail anywhere... I take her back to the field where she entered the thicket and circled and she went back into the thicket in the same place as before... We did not find this deer....
