Made a couple duck hunts

Slow today, everything is frozen over. We busted a spot open but they are probably with the thousands of geese in the fields. We have 8, and have lost three. Don’t expect much more today.ImageImage

Made a couple duck hunts

Well I’ve wrapped up the season w a few more hunts and it was when the weather warmed so I’m guessing the mallards followed the frost line like they typically do. Anyway, we had a very successful season with deer and the limited duck season that we actually hunted instead of chasing deer. Pearl, my puppy will be 9 months old in a week and did awesome while enduring the different types of hunting in totally different areas. She fetched over a 100 ducks in swamps, brakes, fresh water marshes, saltwater marshes and sneak/jump shooting some woodys. ImageImageImageImageImage

Looks like y'all had a great time. Nothing like having a good dog when you are duck hunting!
