Everything was froze over today so we hit bay springs lake on the tenntom. I had never killed teal before today. Was pretty good shoot and some beautiful birds!

Looks like a great shoot, I could not have braved the cold.

very nice birds, CB. Don't know that I'd have braved that cold though.

I have hunted almost everyday since dec 16th. I even hunted all day Monday when the high was 13°. I love hunting and won't let the weather keep me from it. Since the cold snap deer activity has slowed greatly so I grabbed shotgun and went on the prowl!

Keep it up my friend, the day will come when the bones won't take the cold. Trust me, I used to be just like you. Camped in a tent with temps at 17* at night and four wheeler hubs froze solid in the morning. Loved every minute of it. Never thought I would see the day when the weather would slow me down.

I'm with you Terry, age and cold weather will have a lot to say about when and how often you hunt one day :)
