I usually see a good many in the swamp and on the farm ponds but I have not this year. While I don't hunt them I always enjoy watching them.

I got 1 group of woodies up off our slough back in dec and killed 3. That's all I've seen this year. Previous years you could morning shoot them then puddle jump them an hr or so later a couple times a week and still get on them every hunt.

my brother's been hunting beaver dam.. no ducks there to amount to anything.. Friend of mine hunts Sledge & Marks.. No ducks either..

My brother is having to go over to Arkansas to kill any ducks, and there still aren't that many over there.. Maybe these next few fronts coming thru will push y'all some down..

Made a hunt this morning. Had a bunch coming in before sunrise. Nothing after the sun came up. Image

I was supposed to go last weekend and stuff happened and I couldn't go but I'm going this weekend one way or another. It's supposed to be 26 Saturday morning so I hope the birds are working. My buds I hunt with killed a limit of mallards and two Hooded Mergansers on the hunt I missed.

I have only seen 5 or 6 mallards all year. It's insane.

Most of our duck hunting members are still having good kills, here is a picture one of my friends posted just a couple of days ago...8 hunters 8 limits

Well. Wrapped up a forgettable duck season this morning. Maybe next year will be better.

My group of 4 killed less than 70 all year. Which is fair considering the season. They just never really showed up here.

We killed 6 ducks all season. We just didn't get birds. The last day of season my buddy was stalking pigs near one of the holes we duck hunt and said there were hundreds of them pouring in at dusk.
