I got invited on one last rabbit hunt for the year on Wednesday. It was a changing of the guard of sorts. I went with 2 of my old, both figuratively and literally , rabbit hunting buddies. All 3 of us had our sons with us. As I watched them all through the day, it dawned on me that our sons have gradually taken charge. They still let us think we are making the decisions, but they pretty much do all the work and preparations. They have all turned into fine men. We were able to gather up most of the rabbits for a picture but I think 6 got left out. We had a total of 24 for the day.
