Our new additions

Postby outdoorswoman » Mon Mar 02, 2009 9:29 am

We got these this weekend.

AKC Beagles hopefully will be rabbit dogs one day. We've never had beagles so we don't really have a clue what we are doing LOL

Purty pups.

Just get them in the woods as often as you can. It don't matter at first what they are trailling, let them use them noses.

I'm up north of you, let me know if you need a hand. Between my wife and I we probably raised thirty or forty hounds in our life.

Keep them up to date on their shots and worm treatments and watch for ticks around the base of their heads that will paralysis/kill them. Those pups from March should be starting well on rabbits by now cause they sure grow up fast.
