Aluma-Line Climbing Stand

While looking for some other photos I ran across this one. I still have the stand. I think this is the first Climbing Stand put out by Aluma-Line. Regardless of how it looks, the stand is very stable. The stand has carpeted floor, safety cable, sefety belt, and a 3/4" replacement top seat. When taking the stand into the woods it folds down flat. I did put some shoulder straps on the stand for toting in and out of the woods.

Wow that's some old school technology right there!!! My dad still has an old amaker ( SP?) a lot like that one. It hasn't been on a tree in probably 15 years or more. I don't even know if I would climb a tree that skinny with todays stands. I prefer one a lot bigger for my safety and peace of mind

that was high-tech back in the day :)

I still have an old baker stand laying around somewhere.. 1/2 of it may still be up in a tree somewhere :)
