I'm personally a Yamaha fan but as far as reliabiliy you can never go wrong with a Honda. Had a 125 three wheeler when I was a kid...WOULD NOT DIE!!! It came closer to killin me!

I have never owned another brand so I am biased but I couldn't wear out the first Honda I had and the second one will be 13 years old in the Spring. I have changed the oil and replaced batteries...that's it.

Pretty much anything with the Honda name is a good choice. May not be the most exciting choice but it's usually very reliable.

Dawg,
I think it is just dumb luck as there is no maintenance schedule.
I ride it then park it.
Keys are in the camp and everyone uses it.
I changed the oil every year..I think? Might have gone 2 years a couple of times.
Adjusted the clutches a few times.
Tighten the timing chain once. I have done at least 3 brake jobs on it (one hyd. wheel cylinder replaced).
This year I had to replace the exhaust pipe/muffler assy.

Rode hard, put up wet, runs like a champ!
