30 oz tumbler

Freds Dollar Store, had them on sale for $ 5.00. Yeti, needs to come off those ridiculous prices. Filled with ice and still half full at 16 hours.

I agree. Been 24 hours and still half full of ice. I will write Yeti, on it now.

It's all about buying the NAME
Not the Quality
While in Texas I bought a 100 Qt Igloo that sat side by side with a Yeti and it kept ice just as well as the $500.00 cooler.
I can buy a lot of Igloo's for that.
I also have a couple of Dollar Store Bubba cups that work just fine.

I put a 5 day igloo, up against a yeti on the job site a few years ago. We sat them side by side, opened them at the same time each day. After 3 days I still had ice, the yeti had cold water. Charlie, was disappointed in his wife's $ 360.00 Christmas present to him. Plus that thing when full of ice and beverages took two men to lift it. I keep venison in a hundred quart igloo for thirty days in the winter.

I've got a couple of the walmart ones too and they work great. I'll have to go looking at Freds and see if they have any on sale.

I have both a Yeti that I got from a friend last Christmas and the Ozark Trail from Walmart and I can't tell the difference in them other then the lid on the Yeti seems to fit a little more snug

I will have to say, I believe the yeti coolers are better than the standard igloo's & such. I don't believe there is much diff between the yeti's, and the pelican & other yeti clones though.

Coming back from Colorado we had several coolers full of elk meat, all with the same amount of dry ice & all duct taped shut. When we got home 2 days later, while all of the meat was still frozen, the dry ice was all gone in the coolers, except for the yet, and the meat in the yeti was still frozen rock hard.

I bought hubby a yetti cup and me just a knock off. Mine keeps ice way longer, longer than I need. He won't even use his as he says it isn't as good as mine! LOL

I have a yeti and k2 cooler and without a doubt they hold ice longer than "standard" coolers. I bought both used and love them.

Now for the tumblers I have yeti, Ozark trail, rtic, and some other brand. I use them daily and can tell you 100% without a doubt the yeti holds ice longer in my truck where it's 110· plus.

Now is the difference worth the price?? To me (who uses them daily) without a doubt. For others that don't "use" them I'm sure it's not.

The one from Freds still had ice at 30 hours. Decided to try it with hot coffee today. Filled it with hot water for 30 minutes, then with hot coffee. Two hours later the coffee was cold. Guess it's just an ice mug.
