Jiggs did good this morning

We had to work hard for them this morning but Jiggs showed us 8 and we managed to get 7 of them down to her. If Fourthhorseman had had his gun loaded we would have gotten all 8. [;)]

Matching camo? Do all parts of the woods look the same where you hunt? This is strategery I use to throw the game's game off.

Bullie, It sounds like LazyGhost wears designer camo he gets from his fashion magazines :W: .

Seriously though, that's one of the things I have always payed attention to when hunting with new people. The guys that show up with brand new matching pants, shirt, hat, boots and jacket, are ones you usually have to watch out for. They typically learned all, or most of what they know about hunting from a magazine, or message board.

The ones that show up in worn out overalls, miss matched camo, work boots, a 50 year old beaten up gun and a cap with a nasty looking bill are usually the ones that know how to hunt and don't feel the need to impress anyone. Those are the ones I prefer to hunt with. That comparrison is not always the case, but usually is.

The ones that show up with dip spit running down their chin...ok, I won't go there :rotflol: .

Looks to me like mismatched camo works pretty well. Eight squirrels seen, seven downed, one allowed to escape due to an unprepared shooter. Looks like you guys had a good morning hunt regardless of your wardrobe!

I hunt with one guy who looks like he just stepped out of the bass pro caloge...even his hair is't out of place... I just can't see wearing all that camo then covering it up with a coat and bibs... that is why I wear bluejeans. can't see the blue jeans when I put on my solid green carhart bibs.. :2TU:

I do have to appoligize for that horrible blunder. Yall gotta understand that Bullie was yelling about the squirrel and I was running from 250 yards away. Now Bullie's shaking the tree and Making this funny clicking noise with his gun and I had forgot to put in my clip. It was just awfull but none the less Jiggs made a bunch of trees and thats all that matters.

Nope. This was a cull hunt on an extensively managed property. Just weeding out the bad genes.
