Gonna be up early cooking boston butts and figured Jiggs and I will make use of the sunrise. Charged up her collar for the first time last night.

Uhmmmm. She noticed that her owner was up most of the night dealing with some bad heartburn and tending BBQ. She also noticed that it was very windy. She called it off til tomorrow am.

Yep. She is right sharp for sure.

She made 3 trees this morning. Sure was nice to hear her tell on one again.

Come over and go hunting with us this fall. That will really fire you up to get a dog.

You should plan on it. I usually host a couple of hunts in Arkansas in the winter. Now, this is all dependent on our camp not washing away as it has a good bit of water standing in it right now, but we have a great time. The camp sleeps a pile of folks and we eat really well and tell lies and hunt some. Good folks with good dogs.

What part of Kansas? My buddy Ready Red (yeah the one with me when the sasquatch gave chase) was leaving for Kansas when I talked to him this morning....then Nebraska. Chasing turkeys.

I have no doubt that he will. He is a natural born killer.
