Jb, looks like you are going to have to chase the wide rack 8 point away before he eats up all the corn that doe with the fawn have been enjoying!

I guess today is my lucky day

The boy's came back across headed the other way around 3:20
A quick hard rain had just fallen and there was steam everywhere
I had the cabin rocking to Southern Cross by Crosby Stills and Nash
Seems like they were intrigued by the music :P Well maybe not

Looks like I need to set up a target by the white colored tree and start shooting the old 06 a shot or two each week

Those are southern deer so I am pretty sure they probably do like CSN music!

Animals really do have a curiosity just as humans do. Birds are especially curious and seem to really enjoy being able to observe humans. I'm guessing that the bird may be hanging around your cabin just watching the corn the deer are eating to spot a mouse or two that might come nibble on the corn.

Wow! I'm getting way behind here. Jerry you have some great stuff here.

The hawk photos are really something. Automatic feeders are legal here and I've been using one for a long time. I've had hawks perch on top of the feeder waiting on rabbits and voles. One year I had a Peregrine Falcon hunting my feeder. The Peregrine seemed to prefer birds. He would drop out of the sky like a missile.

Back before Three Wheelers, Jeanne gave me a 175 CC AMF trail bike for my birthday. The motorcycle was a bright blue with lots of chrome. The bike was a great decoy. Several times when I got back to the bike after dark I would scare deer near the bike. Once I observed a group of doe, being chased by a small dog, stop at the road I was walking down. That bright motorcycle was on the other side of the deer from me. The lead doe turned down the road toward the bike, even with the dog barking a distance behind them, the doe started walking toward the bike. I don't know what she would have done had the dog not caught up with them about that time. All of the deer took off at a run across the road and through the palmetto away from the dog. Yeah they are curious. :D
