The House Finches are still visiting my hummingbird feeders. Last year there was only two. This year I had 6 at one time. I think I'm back down to two again.:)

I think that is a male finch Ironwood. I am not certain but I believe the females do not share the reddish coloration. Possibly it is an immature male?

Bullie, Of course I'm Red Blind so I'm not doubting you. However, I do think when they say red they mean something like these. The first one is a mature male and the second, I believe, is a juvenile. :) The third photo is a female. :)

Well the final word. :) Jeanne is my color eyes and she says it does have a very light red on the cheek, head and back on the rump. She thinks it might be another juvenile. I stand corrected. :)
