Now Terry! I told you not to look!

I've always wondered how long it took a spider to wrap up it's prey. Well, the other night I found out just how long it takes. I gotta tell y'all it doesn't take long!

Everynight about 8:30 my little dog ask to go out. One night while I was waiting on her I watched the spider. While I was watching a moth few into the web. Like a flash that spider was on the moth. Took him only a second to kill the moth and haul it to the center of the web. Where he, just as fast, had the moth completely enclosed in his web. I couldn't believe how fast he wrapped the moth up with that fine web until I looked at the photos I was taking.

Yeah it doesn't take long at all. I was sure surprised when I saw how wide they could make that web material. Didn't see it until I looked at the photos on the computer.
