A Fun Afternoon

Postby Smacko » Mon Mar 19, 2007 8:26 pm

I have a neighbor who is a single mom raising two kids. She called me and ask if her son could go fishing in my pond and of course I said sure.

Carson and I fished for about 2 hours and ended up catching..bass..crappie...and bream... he said he had a great time.

I felt honored to help this young boy have a good time fishing...and if any of you have kids please take them fishing....

Here's a pic of some of his catch...

Hi Smacko!

Sounds like a great time.. .Also sounds like a good excuse for you to chunk a bait for a while too :D

We have a fishing rodeo at our lake every year for the kids at Church.. They have a ball.. Getting a few stores to donate a few items for gifts makes it even better for the kids..
