Behind the house

Postby Smacko » Wed Apr 15, 2015 3:16 am

I have a pond behind my house and is very limited to where you can fish from the bank. So yesterday I took my Jon boat down there and fished from the boat. This was first time in 11 years that a boat had been put in the pond. Ended up catching 31 fish, 29 Bream and 2 bass. Not to bad for an hour and a half of fishing. Best part was I didn't have to drive anywhere.

They were fun to catch especially on an ultra light rod and reel. Caught them all on a beetle spin.

Been there and done that many times. But when they crab that cricket on a line attached to a fiberglass bream pole and the line starts to sing. Ain't nothing like it.

caught several of them other day on nightcrawlers...the nightcrawlers and bigger hook eliminate catching a lot of the smaller ones it seems...they were all 9 to 9.5 inches
