Getdrove101: , everyone has a story to tell and most are impressive. Problem is, past statistics and stories, don't always win in future events. I look forward to seeing all the results. You never know when or where it will happen.
Had a friend once that asked a land owner if he could fish his little 1/2 acre pond. The guy laughed and said yeah, but I can tell you there ain't nothing in there but turtles and sun perch.
On the third cast the fight was on, after landing the 13 lb hog, the owner told him no more fishing allowed. Lol

Good luck to everyone and let's have some fun.

What reels did you order Steve? My little Zebco 33's , don't hold up well to the big bass. Been thinking about the Quntam Smoke. Good reviews and won't break the bank.

That Quntam is a good reel but think I will stick to the old hand crank telephone. :W: :stir:

I switched to lews last year. The $70 lews is nicer than the $200 bass pro reels I have.

Thanks Chad, I used one years ago. Been looking at them and reviews, may just have to get a couple at that price.

You never know when you make that cast what might be on the other end.
Take those children fishing, great time spent together.

The hand crank telephone works well, but I still prefer the 1/2 stick of dynamite myself.

That works well to glenn as long as you don't get directly in the same brush top...it tears them up to bad. :W:
