Marker buoy

Postby deepwaterwolf » Sat Jul 29, 2017 5:33 am

I am looking for a marker buoy that will tell current direction also. Have y'all ever seen one?

You can change it to any buoy, river, get tides, wave height and salinity.

Tide generally moves east and west. If you look for the buoy height it will show if its rising or falling.

I know about the charts and apps. I would just like a simple bouy that I can throw out to mark a reef then be able to use that bouy to see the current to help me anchor above the reef

Lol oh snap. Sorry didn't know that's what you wanted. You can order them or I'm thinking academy sells them. Can always use a weight, string and a 2 liter bottle..... spray paint the inside and put the cap on for hi vis. More than one way to skin a cat.
