GAS PRICES AND THE COST TO FISH

Postby rjenkins1981 » Mon Mar 03, 2008 10:54 am

MAN THIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUS. I AM BEING FORCED TO FISH MORE LOCAL LAKES AROUND HERE AND THOSE LAKES ARE GETTING POUNDED MORE AND MORE I AM NOTICING FROM THE GAS PRICES. I WENT TO TRACE LAKE SUNDAY AND MAN IT COSTS 11.00 JUST TO LAUNCH A BOAT. THIS HOBBY IS ABOUT TO GET TOO EXPENSIVE FOR ME AND I LOVE TO FISH. ANY ONE ELSE SEEING THIS PATTERN ON THE STATE LAKES? :bash: :(

BY THE TIME YOU FILL THE TRUCK UP AND THE BOAT TOO ITS NEARLY 100.00 MAYBE. AND THEN THE EBTRY FEE, IT DID NOT USED TO BE LIKE THIS. I AM NOT SURE WHAT THIS WILL DO TO THE LITTLE MAN WHO CAN NOT AFFORD TO PUT THAT KIND OF MONEY UP FRONT. MAN THAT SEEMS HIGH AND OF COURSE BAITS COST MORE THESE DAYS TOO.

I AGREE, AND I WONDER WHY IT COSTS SO MUCH TO LAUNCH A BOAT?

$11.00 AT STATE PARKS. WOW THAT IS HIGH

I dang sure aint gonna quit fishin33 gallon tank in the boat, 25 gallon tank in the truck, compute that at $3.00 plus a gallon. Makes it kinda tuff to go fishin when they both hit "E". By the time you go to Pickwick from my house you gonna burn it all outa both and that just means I hafta put more in the truck soon as I get home. :x Oh well, gotta pay to play I guess. :|I dang sure aint gonna quit fishin.
