Got to be using jigs. If he was using live bait, he would be broke by now. :rotflol: Are you eating all those fish :?: I would.

that pond was full of crappie.. mostly smallish size.. but every once in a blue moon you could catch a decent one..

When a pond get overstocked the fish seem to get smaller in size crappie multiply so much that if you don't keep most of what you catch you are really hurting the pond or small lake plus those that are about hand size make great fillets :D

i think that must be what's wrong with this lake then. it has a lot of them but they're all small with the exception of a few that i've caught

it's the LMS-525DF http://www.lowrance.com/en/Products/Mar ... S-525C-DF/

i like it but i don't get to use it a whole lot because most of the lakes i fish are small and your not allowed to use outboards on them. most of the time i use the eagle cuda that is up front next to the trolling motor

i guarantee you thats the problem. the biologists will tell you to NEVER stock a lack with crappie. They are worse than bass/bream about overpopulating small watersheds.
