you are definitely privileged to have access to such good fishing holes. I'm not saying you aren't putting in the effort, just saying you must have a nice place to consistently catch the quality fish you are catching !

Gtk, I am thankful for the holes I do get to fish but we do not catch fish like that very often. There is no telling how many man hours I put on that lake and that is the only fish we have caught over 8lbs.

is the place your fishing, actively managed for big bass?

i've got a 10+ acre lake, and what I would cost to keep it fertilized/limed & the fish population in "check" would be some major greenback :cry:

I plan on putting some fathead minnows in it, and I am currently keeping every small bass we catch.. . Had some friends take 35 out the other day :)
