There's a pretty large one in my dads pond. He comes up sometimes when he feeds them.

I caugth one when i was younger almost scared me I didnt know what I had it was caugth out of catfish pond in Sunflower County

I have seen huge albino cats surface @ sardis, when fishing the river up above wyatt's..

I have seen a couple of those before but never caught one.

Thats the 1st time I've seen an albino catfish, do all species of fish have albino's (ie bass, crappie, bream)

I've only seen one in an aquarium, he kinda freaked me out when I pulled him in. :lol: Never heard of any, but I'm sure Albinos occur in all species since it's a pigment thing.

I used to fish in a guys pond when I was a kid that had an albino catfish. He would let me catch and keep whatever I wanted, except for the albino. He told me if I ever caught him I had to let him go. You could see him when he would throw feed out.

I talked to a US Forestry guy and told him about it and he said they put several in Puskus from the fishery. He said they're definately a rare catch since they rarely make it past fingerling size since they're so visible. Predators get 'em pretty quick.
