i asked because.. that looks familiar to the last concrete project I completed.. And yes, I completed it and it looked about like that.

The wife promptly hired someone to do it correctly.. I still say I did it correctly, it just didn't have the same end result :W:

Okay my friends, after some blood shed on my part, j2dirtracer shows up with 5, 4" saw blades. He says "This one will cut anything, and these I forget what they cut". Well I put one of the lesser blades on the DeWalt and guess what It cuts Tennessee Rock. Right now I am putting together a jigsaw puzzle made of rocks. Scoring them with the diamond blade and breaking them with a big hammer and chisel.
I know it looks like all hades now, but come Sunday afternoon, I will have a hearth. :D

Ooh and my cleaning lady is going to want a nice tip :W: :W:

Dang! That looks great Jerry. Now all you need is one of those swing out kettles. :)

The Next Project Inside the Cabin

Postby gtk » Sat Oct 13, 2012 8:09 pm

Loving it

I was riding down the road early one morning the other day, and smelled wood burning from a stove. Brought back memories of cutting firewood & burning oak in our fireplace all winter long. Now we just have ventless heaters
