Worked 4 1/2 hours on it today, I'll sure be glad to see the corbels and tassels installed on this project.

Yes I enjoy the day to day progress. Gonna be a great looking fireplace. A great one for sitting in front of on a cold and windy winter night.

Well I had to hold off working on the fireplace because Ms. Madison wanted to have her birthday party at the cabin :D .. At one time there were 42 teenagers inside my cabin...
Well that was last Saturday night and I have gone into "High Performance" mode for me.

Starting Monday afternoon

I have a LOT of cleanup to do from the mortar/rock dust then install the gas logs..
