Did I say Meatballs

Postby jbullard1 » Fri Jan 04, 2019 10:07 am

We ground 35 pounds of deer mixed, added in some bacon ends and pieces and 4 pounds of ribeye fat.
We eat a lot of meatballs so we made them and also pre mixed meatloaf and put in aluminum baking pans to freeze for later.
One of our great blessings this year, is a group of young men that had never had summer sausage, jerky, burger patties, or properly prepared deer. We are processing the clean meat on the halves for them and they are loving it.
