Red eye gravy

Had a couple of ham steaks in the fridge so I thought I'd try some Red eye gravy.
Not a fan!
What about you guys & gals.
Like it?, Hate it or just tolerate it from time to time? :roll:

I'm not a big fan of red eye gravy myself.

Man I used to eat it on biscuits every morning. Probably wasn't to good for the ticker tho.

IDK Terry, it is nothing but coffee and the pot liqueur form the ham steak.
ham steak is real close to bacon and bacon rules ;)

Pat, my mom always kept a ham bone in a pot on the stove and would add day old coffee as needed plus salt cured ham. Some kinda fine.
