Venison Summer Sausage

Postby e_smith06 » Tue Jan 07, 2014 9:28 pm

For my very first attempt... It's not bad. In fact it's pretty good. With a few tweaks to the recipe, it'll be slap yo mama good!
Mainly needs a little more heat.

Looks good. Are the large white chunks garlic, or onion?

Have a grinder with stuffer tube but I just stuffed these by hand because it was a small batch

Next time you make a batch get my stuffer makes tight firm sausages and cleans up in a couple minutes

Waltonsinc.com

When I get the recipe tweaked I will post it. This one is lacking a bit. The next batch will be done in a smoker as well. I believe that will help with the flavor
