Grind Venison

When you grind venison for burger what size grinder plate do you use and do you grind one time or 2?

Jerry, I never grind twice like some do. I use the large plate that came with mine, not sure of the size it is in the dishwasher right now. We don't care for the texture of fine ground. Same for sausage.

I only grind once I use the 3/16 plate sausage I grind twice mainly to mix the fat and seasoning evenly . I season the meat before I grind

Same here Steve, I cube & season, then let marinate at least 24 hours. Then grind with fat and all, then mix again with my hands and stuff.
