Venison Stroganoff

You can do a Google search & find many variations of this recipe.
Mine is pretty simple since I use canned venison.

Prep time : 5 minutes
Cook time : 30 minutes

1 medium green bell pepper rough chopped
1 medium onion sliced
1 package sliced baby portobello mushrooms
1 Tbs roasted garlic from the jar
1 tsp dried parsley flakes
1 box beef broth
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pint sour cream
2 pints canned venison
Salt and Pepper to taste
Splash of Wooster sauce

To Make :
In a cast iron skillet
Sauté onion, bell pepper, garlic & mushrooms in oil of choice.
Add two pints of canned venison.
Add the mushroom soup, the sour cream. Then pour the beef broth in until 1 inch from top of skillet.
Add a splash of Wooster sauce, parsley & salt and pepper to taste.
Stir well to mix, then let simmer until the bell pepper is tender.

Serve over flat noodles, rice or mashed potatoes. I use mashed potatoes with a packet of onion soup added to the mash.
Serving time : 2 minutes
Gone time : 20 minutes, with just Sherrie & myself eating. Oh I did give Midnight a portion mixed with his Pedigree food.
