Dinner Tonight

Postby terry08 » Sun Jun 14, 2015 12:30 pm

Ok folks, here's how to treat your wonderful wife. I very seldom will go out to eat. But last year I broke my rule and took Sherrie, out to what was billed as a fine Steak House Restaurant, as usual I was totally disappointed. The Choice Ribeye, was tough as shoe leather, the salad wilted and not edible and the server, very in need of training. I told Sherrie, never again I paid $ 78.00 for something we could not eat and would not happen again.
This is how it should be done. Cedar Planked Salmon, Prime Beef Filets, Baked Potato and a wonderful Salad. I guarantee the steak to be melt in your mouth tender, the salmon to be wonderful and only cost $ 42.00.

Will post pictures of the finished meal. The steaks are stuffed with Stilton Blue Cheese, and unsalted Land O Lakes, cream style butter.

I have the same idea when it comes to restaurants. The wife and I went to steak house and paid 65 bucks for ribeye baked tater and salad and were very disapointed. I go to the butcher shop and buy big fat aged angus ribeyes for 32 bucks for two and cook them on the grill and they were tender and delicious. The meal you showed made me a little jealous though. It looked amazing!
