Since seven this morning, I have sliced and tenderized two whole pork loins and vac sealed them, that's 22 lbs.
I have cut up and ground , four Boston butts for future venison sausage, that's 43 lbs in one lb bags.
I have skinned and deboned 20 lbs of chicken thighs, ground and seasoned them to stuff shortly, for chadbragg's hot wing & blue cheese bratwurst.
By the way Chad, I made my own season mix.
Now I think I will take a break.

If I don't buy another freezer, ain't gonna have no place for the harvest. Got twelve whole smoked butts, smoked ribs, smoked whole chickens and half's. Plus stews and soups. Also six more pork loins sliced and tenderized. Also front quarters, neck roast, two hind quarters and plenty back strap left from last season. Sherrie, needs to start eating.

Had one of our freezers go out back in the summer and I need to take it and see if it can be repaired because the other one is almost full.

Sherrie, says it might be cheaper to quit hunting since we don't eat like we used to. My answer : What day and time is the your fault divorce hearing. Lol

:nono: but that is funny. Betty never says anything about me hunting but we try not to eat fried food anymore and I sure love fried deer meat smothered in gravy and onions but it sure is good smoked also.

You won't find many leftovers here, and with two freezers I can't keep them full. JV you will come out better to just replace the freezer, it generally cost to much to repair them.

Very true ladyhunter. Think I will buy me one of those small chest types, just to hold two deer. Don't plan to take as many this time.

Jv, nothing wrong with fried in moderation. Use a light cooking oil such as Wesson, which is endorsed by the American Heart Association. Being that venison is very healthy red meat, once a month should not hurt the heart or affect cholesterol.
Read a study the other day. It said dishwashers, are affecting our health by getting dishes to clean. Seems our bodies need the bacteria which is often left behind by hand washing dishes.
I know ours is bacteria free because Sherrie, will wash them by hand before placing in the dishwasher. Never have understood that. Lol
