Tomatoes and Strawberries

Postby jbullard1 » Fri Mar 02, 2018 11:43 am

I have a friend that runs a produce wholesale business so we bought 50# of Strawberries and 100# of tomatoes.
We froze most of the strawberries and canned whole Roma tomatoes, Stewed Tomatoes and Tomato sauce. We also canned a bunch of diced red bell peppers too.

I use them for soups, stews, and other dishes. Plus, just drain and place in a pot, with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Out of this world.
